Deep Dark Chocolate Truffle Bars
- 1 (16.5-ounce) roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough, well chilled
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (14-ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon shortening
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 13×9 inch pan with non-stick spray.
Cut cookie dough into 1/4 inch slices. Arrange slices in bottom of the prepared pan. With floured fingers, press dough evenly to form a crust in bottom of the pan. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until deep golden brown (dough will appear puffed). Cool Completely.
Combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in medium saucepan over low heat; stir until smooth and chips are melted. Remove from heat and pour over crust.
Combine White chocolate chips and shortening in small sauce pan over low hear. Stir until melted and smooth. Drizzle over Chocolate layer.
Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until set. Cut into bars or squares.
Yield: 36 squares
