For Brownies
  1. 1 box of chewy fudge brownie mix
  2. 2 eggs
  3. 1/4 cup water
  4. 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Cherry Cheesecake Filling
  1. 1 8-ounce package cream cheese
  2. 1 egg
  3. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  4. 1/3 cup sugar
  5. 1 can cherry pie filling
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Prepare a 13x9 pan by spraying with non-stick spray.
For Brownies
  1. Prepare brownies according to package directions.
  2. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
For Cherry Cheesecake Filling
  1. With an electric mixer, beat cream cheese, egg, vanilla, and sugar until smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter. Top with spoonfuls of cherry filling.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of remaining brownie batter on top of the pie filling.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30-35 minutes, until center appears set. Brownies will still be jiggly in the middle.
  5. Let cool to room temperature before cutting.
